A Local African Experience!
Dinner at the Gold Restaurant is accompanied by interactive entertainment.
Guests at GOLD Restaurant cannot help but be swept up in the excitement of archetypal African stories told through live entertainment with dinner.
The African entertainment includes praise singing to welcome you, Mali puppetry, and dancing to the rhythms of the marimba percussion and djembe drums.
African food is traditionally shared and enjoyed with family and friends.
Similarly, the 14-dish tasting menu served at their restaurant is designed to be enjoyed in a shared style.
Throughout your traditional African meal you will enjoy learning about the country of origin, cooking techniques and spicing of each dish.
All dishes are Halaal-certified meat, poultry and fish dishes and come with vegetarian or vegan substitutes.

Flight Information
Cape Town International Airport (CPT)
We recommend that you take a direct flight via Delta- or United Airlines with final destination being, Cape Town International Airport (CPT).
Delta Airlines has direct flights (15hr) from Atlanta (ATL) to Cape Town (CPT) on a Thursday, Saturday and Monday.
United Airlines has direct flights (14hr) from:
1. Newark (EWR) to Cape Town (CPT) on a Friday and Sunday; and
2. Washington DC (IAD) to Cape Town (CPT) on a Thursday, Saturday and Monday.
Note: There are connecting flights to the abovementioned cities.
Eg. If you live in Miami, you would take a domestic flight from Miami to Atlanta. Thereafter, take an international flight from Atlanta to Cape Town.
For non-direct flights we recommend taking Emirates Airline, Turkish Airline, Virgin Atlantic Airline, Qatar Airways or Lufthansa Airlines. Note, these airlines fly via their originating country before coming to Cape Town. (Please pay attention for layover time periods.)
